ヨハネの手紙１ ４章７～１０節

親が夜中に起きて子供に布団をかけるのは、
法律で決められているからでなく、愛している
からです。神様も私達を愛しておられますが、
それは私達の望みがいつも叶えられるという
事ではありません。私達が子供の要求を全て
叶えないのと同じように、神は本当に良い物、
更には十字架の贖いを与えて下さるのです。

以前モルモン教の教会に行っている人から、
「キリスト教はわかりにくい。だからキリスト教の
方が本物だと思う」と言われました。分かりにくい
ことの一つがこの「三位一体」だと思います。
父・子・聖霊は水・氷・水蒸気とは異なりそれぞれ
人格（位格）を持ち役割も違うのですが一つです。
今は分からなくても、再臨の時に全て分かるのです。

初期の日本語訳聖書では、神は「天帝」と
訳されていました。日本では新しい神を作り
まつったりしますが、本当の神は人が必要に
応じて作るものではなく、永遠に変わらない
方であり、そしてその神は真実な方なのです。
私達は失敗することもありますが、真実で
変わらない神が私達を愛して下さるのです。

日本には「イワシの頭も信心から」という言葉が
あるように、「信じる心が尊い」とされることが
多いですが、みんなが信じなくても牧師の母親が
茨城で生活しているのと同じように、神がいると
したら周りが否定しても存在するのです。しかも
その神様が人格を持って私達を愛して下さるので、
私達は平安と希望の中、生きていけるのです。
